ZKPeer tackles the challenges encountered by the scientific research community, including political interference, inconsistent funding, and the prioritization of short-term results over long-term, fundamental research. It introduces a ZK-Based anonymous scientific journal publishing and reviewing platform, known as De-Sci, to mitigate these issues. Researchers can anonymously publish and review research papers through ZKPeer. The platform ensures the qualifications of both publishers and reviewers while validating the legitimacy of publications. This is achieved through a reputation-based AppChain on the Mina Protocol, implemented using Protokit.
