Today zkok is proud to announce a brand new staking service for Mina Protocol. The new service allows anyone to delegate their Mina to our node and receive rewards for doing so.

Things to remember when staking
1: Staking for the first time
If you are staking Mina for the first time it will take two Epochs to take effect and up to three before you will receive any rewards. An Epoch is around two weeks.
2: Your MINA Tokens never leave your wallet
You are not sending your tokens to our address, you are just staking them with zkok Validator. They are free to move at any time.
3: You won’t lose any rewards if you switch staking.
If you are changing staking provider you won’t lose any rewards. You will still receive them from your current provider for the next couple of epochs after you switch.
4: Our commission is 5%
Any profits will go towards Mina Community initiatives and to support the Mina Protocol ecosystem and upkeep of zkok.io.
5: Payouts will be at the start of every Epoch.
Our aim is to be a long term Mina ecosystem partner and a trusted staking provider. We have been active Mina Protocol Community members since the start and really care about this project.

- Click the links to see delegation details of the current epoch and next epoch;
- The token will not be bound after delegation, you can move them any time freely; the reward will be based on Mina’s on-chain snapshot of wallet balance some time towards the end of an epoch; best to complete delegation at least 3 days before the epoch end and keep the balance there for the snapshot;
- Service charge: 5% of reward; payout once per epoch (~15 days) within 3 days of end of epoch; check the payout records for each epoch HERE;
- By Mina’s design, tokens delegated in the N-th epoch will only start to earn rewards in epoch N+2, and receive reward payments after the end of epoch N+2.
About the zk validator team
Lamps (discord ID lamps#6718)
Lamps’s journey with Mina commenced in December 2020, and was marked by his participation in the Testworld testnet preceding the Mainnet launch. Ranked No. 8 in the testnet, he secured a coveted Genesis Founding Member position and was designated as an ‘RC initiator,’ instrumental in launching the mainnet research candidate on March 17, 2020, which proved successful and later transitioned into the official Mainnet.
Furthermore, Lamps was among the fortunate top 120 community members to receive o(1)Labs and MF delegations from the project’s inception. He actively sought to enhance the delegation program, proposing ideas for improvement, including the expansion of MF’s delegations from 120 to 240.
Eager to contribute to Mina’s overall development, Lamps has authored two Core grant proposals for the Mina Foundation. One proposal focused on automatic staking reward distribution (https://github.com/MinaFoundation/Core-Grants/pull/9), while the other centered on the redesign of Mina’s tokenomics (https://github.com/MinaFoundation/Core-Grants/pull/10)

Pete (aka @minacryptocom on Twitter/X) has been heavily involved with Mina Community projects for over 3 years and has received multiple Mina Protocol Community Grants. He has also been recognized by the Mina Foundation as a CORE value champion, GCP, QA Task Force, Mina Research Founding Member, Government Focus Group Member and was a Cohort 1 zkIgnite Elector and zkIngite cohort 2 & cohort 3 grant award winner.
He is an active part of the Mina Community across all aspects and platforms and promotes and supports all ecosystem members equally and with integrity.

Disclaimers:
- Block producing depends largely on probability and luck. We can only try to make sure that the servers are synched, but absolutely CANNOT guarantee the number of slots that will be assigned to the pool, or the number of green blocks that will come out of the assigned slots.
- Delegating to the pool will NOT increase the expected return from your stake over a long period, but it can considerably reduce the standard deviation, i.e. more consistent rewards. Whatever the size of your stake, it will be beneficial for both the pool and for yourself to join zkok.io pool!
- Rewards happening before the hardfork will follow the rules that unlocked tokens share the supercharged rewards (about 20% APY) while the locked token share the standard rewards (10%). Rewards happening after the hardfork will be the same for both locked and unlocked tokens’
