zkHumans – Anonymous CryptoBiometric Memberships Introducing zkHumans: A Platform Enabling Secure and Private Digital Identity for Individuals and Collectives The zkHumans platform is a revolutionary solution that transforms digital identity for modern humans as individuals and collectives. By harnessing the power of Zero-Knowledge proofs, zkHumans empowers individuals to establish biometric ownership of digital identifiers without compromising the security or privacy of their personal information. Additionally, zkHumans extends its capabilities to collective identities, enabling individuals to prove their membership within a collective without revealing their own identity. This recursive approach also allows collectives to prove their membership within super collectives without disclosing specific details. With zkHumans, human identities can be expressed as a multiplicity or with Sybil-resistance, ensuring robustness and protection against fraudulent activities. The platform offers Anonymous CryptoBiometric Memberships As-a-Service and an OAUTH2 authentication bridge, providing organizations with a secure and privacy-focused solution for their members and digital resources. Problem Statement: In the midst of the human species’ rapid digital transformation, it has become increasingly crucial to safeguard the security and privacy of individuals and collectives while enabling identity, access, ownership, and consensus in the digital realm. Organizations face mounting responsibilities and liabilities in safeguarding the storage and transmission of data containing personally identifying information. The emergence of CryptoBiometrics poses new challenges in balancing privacy and security for individuals and organizations. While biometric authentication offers a powerful means of establishing identity, it falls short in providing a comprehensive solution for robust digital identity and asset ownership without fail-safe recovery and administration methods. Solution: The zkHumans protocol tackles these challenges by leveraging Zero-Knowledge proofs and unique cryptobiometric identifiers. Through zkHumans, individuals can prove their ownership of personal identifiers and their membership within human collectives without disclosing any personal information or revealing their identity. This clear separation between certified qualification acquisition and proof demonstration eliminates the need for transmitting or storing sensitive information, all while maintaining networked functionality. The Zero-Knowledge CryptoBiometric Keyring introduces an innovative approach to secure and reliable individual and collective digital identifiers powered by biometrics. This solution ensures privacy, robustness, and safety in the realm of digital identity.
