In Sep 2021 =nil; Foundation (pronounced without the = or ; ) were awarded $1.2 million to create a bridge between Ethereum & Mina Protocol. By creating the bridge the team are hoping to solve Ethereum’s scaling issues by using Mina to pack arbitrary computations into a smaller, proving data structure. The experienced team of developers are headed by Mikhail Komarov, although they prefer to work without ‘official’ titles.
